Our food is a blend of classic American favorites and traditional Native recipes made from scratch and locally sourced, whenever possible.

We proudly serve these local and regional products: Cortez Milling Blue Bird flour and Navajo corn meal; Olympus Roasters Twin Rocks blend coffee; Adobe Milling Anasazi pinto beans and hot sauces; Stoneground Bakery breads and brioche sandwich buns; Yanabah traditional Navajo teas; Real Salt; Utah Brewer’s Co-op local favorites and seasonal brews; local honey and seasonal produce.

Fry Bread to the People!

According to Navajo tradition fry bread was created in 1864 by the Navajo people incarcerated at Bosque Redondo, New Mexico after the 300 mile forced migration known as the “Long Walk”. From food items not included in the natural Navajo diet, these resilient people created a food dish that is a cornerstone of Southwestern cuisine. For many of The People fry bread connects them to their history and has become an integral part of festivals and gatherings as well as a staple in their home kitchens. Try fry bread with honey, butter or powdered sugar, or in one of our many fry bread creations. Our recipe is a time-tested part of one local family’s legacy.
